    February 14, 2024 - Beautiful Rhone blend.

May 27, 2023 - Color/App: just barely translucent ruby core -> moderately dense ruby rim; medium viscosity. I found this to be too fruit forward on night#1 so I double decanted it, vacu-vinned it and tried it again after 24 hours. While still super fruity, that toned it down a bit. Aggresively red-fruited nose of strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries (if it's red and a berry, you'll find it here), a little earth and some savoury sage and rosemary. Reminds me of some Saxum wines in the extraction and level of fruit intensity. Better on the palate, though still very red fruit dominant. Some grippy tannins on the fairly long finish suggesting this probably still needs 2-4 more years. Acceptable -- I get why others appreciate it -- but not my style of wine anymore.

January 5, 2023 - Amazing depth. This Walla Walla Valley blend can easily be mistaken as a great French Rhone Blend.

November 1, 2022 - smokey blueberry, slight charcoal, raw fennel, faint strawberry backdrop, pepper. Dense but light on its feet. Mourvèdre definitely is the driver of this bus

May 22, 2021 - Just luck to find this one on the shelf locally- picked up both bottles and really enjoyed them!! Killer stuff - would highly recommend. Fruit and depth is moutcoating and perfect.

(K Vintners Charlotte) Hello friends. We have small parcels of a trio of rarities from the recent set of K Vintners releases. These offers are notorious for turning into feeding frenzies, and this one – our first of the year – promises to be extra cuckoo given the wines involved and the parcel sizes. I suspect we’ll have to under-allocate here, given the parcel sizes, so a quick reminder of our allocation technique: Our allocations generally favor breadth over depth, so that everyone gets one bottle before anyone gets two. And our formula for prioritizing allocations includes overall orders, frequency of orders, recency of orders, list tenure, and size of order request, among other factors. Now, onto the wines: This wine is sold out at the winery, and we grabbed the last little bit in Seattle. Max order requests 3 bottles please. This is only the second time we’ve been able to offer Charlotte (the 2012 vintage was the other), which is a dynamite Mourvedre-driven Rhone blend featuring seven different varieties, two of which are white. Here’s the full blend: 42% Mourvédre/28% Syrah/16% Grenache/4% Counoise/4% Cinsault/3% Picpoul/3% Grenache Blanc. It comes from a trio of Walla Walla Valley vineyards: K’s estate Powerline makes up 44%, and the remainder comes from Rockgarden (42%; Buty’s estate in The Rocks District) and River Rock (14%; another Rocks District site). It is done 100% whole cluster, sees 39 days on skins, and then is aged for 26 months in neutral puncheons. Jeb Dunnuck: Copyrighted material withheld.
