May 2, 2020 - Clear Pale garnet trending towards ruby. Aromas of smoked cherries still predominant, with lesser notes of red berries. It reminds me of a light Pinot Noir with less cedar smoke and red berry notes. The light tannins and mouthfeel is enjoyable on its own and interestingly paired well with BBQ lamb chops that had a kalamata olive, sun dried tomatoes, lemon zest sauce.

October 27, 2019 - Medium garnet in colour. Light aroma of dark cherries... Flavours of strawberry, blackberries..Light tannins, medium to high acidity. Paired well with roast pork. Also light enough to drink on its own.

Based on the wines colour and light tannins, I recommend drinking it now. I do not think this wine will get better with age.

December 30, 2018 - Tasted this first at the winery. Clear ruby in colour with aromas and flavours of smoked black cherries. Wine also has notes of bramble berry fruits, currants and a hint cranberries. Balanced to slightly acidic with light smoky tannins that add texture and a rich mouth-feel. This wine has a medium long fruity finish. Paired wonderfully well with Jamie Oliver’s Jool’s slow cooked beef and root vegetable stew.

October 30, 2018 - Bright ruby. Raspberry sauce, roasted red peppers and some herbal and spicy notes on the nose. Fresh and juicy raspberries, cranberries and pimentos in the mouth. Balanced acidity, lean and mild tannins, medium long fruity finish with hints of warm spice.
