July 10, 2023 - Very smooth and perfect with steaks. Open at least two hours before drinking. Decent finish.

June 3, 2023 - Deep ruby. Medium+ nose of tobacco and earth. On the palate medium acidity high alcohol, high tannin, full body. There is an umami factor which drives it reminiscent of braised pork belly. Dark chocolate, cinnamon, cassis. Higher alcohol than I generally prefer but it doesn't get in the way. Pair with red meat or a cigar. Likely entering its prime but certainly no rush on it.

May 24, 2023 - Elegant and smooth showing inviting aroma of blackberry jam, riped cherry, plum and cedar. Full bodied, low acidity and velvety tannins. Was expecting a more structured wine at that price point. Agree with the comment regarding Caymus drinkers who would enjoy that offering. For my taste it has too much oak influence; which denature the wine. NI:4, FC:21, FC:8, B:3, L:4

January 16, 2023 - Open for a least hour as a tannins are still pretty firm. This is balanced w/ a floral bouquet. dark fruit earthy long finish. Wait for 1 year until my next one.
