February 8, 2024 - Lert this wine open for at least an hour for the aromatics to appear. Pale yellow color. Medium to light concentration. Inriguing nose. First impression-the bitterness of nuts, then the garden with flowers such as honeysuckle and something herbal like thyme, followed by a zesty lemon. The savoury elements are lifted by an enjoyable medium + acidity, a surprisingly lightly textured mouthfeel given the powerful and lengthy bitterness and fruit finish. Enjoy with any light cream and fish. We had a Boulud recipe with a base of spinach and green beans, topped with a garlic and light tomato sauce.

July 18, 2023 - Opened this for a friend visiting from the left coast who loves Burgundy and he thought it was new world, but once revealed professed to loving this producer and owning several bottles. Classic Meursault and not shy in this generally rich vintage. This was excellent QPR a few years back but unfortunately prices asked for it now are out of wack. Should drink well for another 3-5 (no signs of POX).

February 19, 2022 - As an aperitif. Lots of stone fruit and mineral. We drank half the bottle pre dinner and half went into a pot of mussels.

January 8, 2021 - Very nice light yellow with austere nose. Minerally and very nice to enjoy. This is not one for the ages and I would drink up.

July 13, 2019 - This was a really pleasing village Meursault. It had a classic nose, with shades of chalk and cream over a core of white fruit and mineral. I liked the clean, clear, unoaked feel of the palate, which really suited the riper 2015 vintage - this had a nice fresh balance and definition to its plump, buttery Meursault fruit, all this seasoned with a touch of fresh lemony acidity. Deliciously drinkable, with a good bit of depth and breadth to its flavours too. Not one for the long-term, but plenty of pleasure on this right now.
