January 21, 2023 - Past it’s prime. Just overwhelming buttered popcorn.
January 11, 2021 - Delicious.
February 9, 2020 - Very Good, definitely a re-buy.
October 14, 2019 - Discovered this wine earlier this year and it is a real find. The opposite of your typical oaky, buttery California Chard. Full mouth feel of tropical fruit and some deep trout gulch mineral (joke). Ready to drink now without decanting. Have no idea if it will age but hope to find out.
September 20, 2019 - Second bottle and I think I have found a very drinkable California Chard. See if future vintages are as good.
August 8, 2019 - Excellent bottle of California Chard. I am not finding the butter that many taste but it is full of yellow fruit, sea shell, a touch of Indian spice and a long finish. I will buy more and see how it ages.
July 4, 2019 - Agree w/previous flavor profile descriptions.
June 28, 2019 - Another quality chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands! Yellow gold in the glass. Aromas of citrus fruit, peach and pineapple upon swirling. Flavors of candied fruit, mango, apricot and lemon cream. Rich, clean and balanced with some mineral touches deftly intertwined, leading through a medium-length, satisfying finish. And yes, there is a buttered popcorn flavor at the end! Excellent wine.
June 2, 2019 - Totally agree with last 2 reviews. Pnp, buttery chard.
May 3, 2019 - Silk1969’s note below is generally apt for us. We will add: this is in balance, not overdone, and also shows a touch of mineral and earth. Highly enjoyable over three nights.
