Community Tasting Notes 3

March 12, 2023 - Quite sweet, marmalade with high alc and vanilla notes. Well made but not my style.

December 17, 2020 - Very dark almost black, dark red reflections.
Full open nose with black currant, black stewed plum, black forest berries, coffee, spices. Complex nose.
Juicy, powerfull body, very high concentration levels, dry although sweet stewed black fruit impressions. Ripe integrated taninnes.
Blackberries, black plum, spices, vanilla, coffee. High on alcohol, requires food. Well balanced, long finish on spices and herbs.
Powerhouse red wine with lots of alcohol requiring backed or grilled meat.

May 2, 2019 - Priorat wine fair 2019 (and related events); 5/2/2019-5/9/2019 (Tarragona and various places in Priorat): Dark purple colour. Dense black jam on the nose. Also some minerals, iron. Then blood and also some flowery notes, violets. Very dark notes when tasted. Some burnt notes to start with, soot. But also some citrusy notes, oranges mostly. Strange concoction. Tannins were in abundance. There is also some sweetness and spices (black pepper) to be felt. Massive wine. I liked it a lot.
