April 4, 2020 - Nice drinking. Medium body with some spicy zip and a rounded finish.
January 29, 2020 - Just opened and will drink over a few nights. First impression pretty good well made wine that should round out some more. I like the TCV Grenaches.
November 13, 2019 - more delicate than we'd expected -- pairs well with food --
August 3, 2019 - Light body and color. Red fruit (mostly strawberries). Reminds me of a light Pinot.
July 30, 2019 - Not decanted. Very light, semi-transparent pale ruby color in the glass. Medium aromas of crushed pine, menthol, cola and black cherry. The palate bring more black cherry, strawberry, sandlewood and earthy loam. Displays crisp, bright acidity but showing only light tannins on the medium length finish. Pleasant, but quite atypical for Grenache. Muted tannins indicate that this should be drunk sooner than later, even though there is still quite a bit of acidity in the wine.
May 25, 2019 - Smooth and light. Enjoyed with appetizers.
May 11, 2019 - I wanted to like this more. Dusty strawberry and herbal notes. Very light quaf with not a lot of complexity. Will it improve with age? Kind of a copout, but time will tell.
February 18, 2019 - Medium ruby, translucent. Complex aromas of red fruit, cooked strawberry, leather. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(-) tannin, medium alcohol and medium(+) body. Red fruit, leather, cacao/dark chocolate. Great length, focused and clean with bitter-sweet notes the finish. Lovely dinner wine; think pork roast.
January 21, 2019 - Light red fruit, great acidity paired beautifully with roasted herbed chicken. Perfect paring I think this wine will improve with age.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.
November 28, 2018 - Incredibly pure, bright, and transparent for a Grenache. This almost sips itself. But its effortless drinking and light style is a bit of a question mark coming from a reference point domestic southern Rhone producer as I'm expecting Grenache's depth and even wild side to clearly present. Sure, I'll lay a bottle down, but this feels like a bottle that is destined to be a light easy-going wine... unless with more than a few years of age it takes on a Burgundian aged elegance. We'll see.
