  April 16, 2024 - Lighter type of CdV reflecting the pliant vintage, sweet and easy going, with good aromatics and lush mid palate, good finish, although I was expecting more complexity and persistence for a grand cru, what I like in this wine is its delicacy, the absence of rusticity makes it stand out, a quality that sometimes other CdV lack.

  December 3, 2023 - Wonderfully elegant and smooth, this wine was not yet singing and in retrospect it would have been better with further age to gain weight and expression.

  February 6, 2023 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of spices, toast, red fruits, char wood. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Tannin is smooth.

  October 28, 2022 - Wild berries, oak spice, sweat and violets. Palate shows nice sweetness with gentle oak. Drinking well for a very young grand cru. But it will clearly shows more nuance in a few more years. 91-92

  May 13, 2021 - Clos Vougeot (The Center) Tasting (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Double blind following Clos Vougeot tasting. Elegant with plenty of fresh red cherry, subtle spice and some sneaky power. Good weight, better length. This is already drinking well, and will probably be at its best 2023-2032. At first I didn't think this from Clos Vougeot given its lack of Grand Cru density, but realized it was Clos Vougeot once I realized it was 2017.
