    February 5, 2023 - The nose has interesting red berries and cherry aromas with dried savoury herbs. The palate is medium bodied with those red berries and a dusty dryness entwined with those savoury herb notes. I'm not sure where the cherries went but couldn't see them on the palate. Finally, I'm not sure if it's improving and revealing more than it originally did but it was delicious with the pasta and steak dinner.

    December 17, 2020 - Bright, focused and transparent. There is still a baby fat with the fruit profile, but with air is improving. Not only cherries, but plentiful of other red berries is added to the mixture. Decanted and kept it there for >3hrs, kept that brightness throughout.
    This is a good and very true wine for the area.

    June 3, 2020 - I prefer this to the riserva wines - this is 100% Sangiovese, and the riserva has 20% Merlot. This one is a bit more fresh and straightforward than the more candied fruit found in the riserva wine. Avg typicity, finish. Will hold for several more years at this level. recommended
