February 2, 2021 - Deep ruby-garnet; leather, dried cherries, prunes, slight tar; cherry, plummy, herbaceous, silky, medium body, good acidity, firm ripe tannins, lingering finish.
Not complex but easy-drinking and good quality. Flavour profile as Zed 57 stated. One of the better Amarone-styled ripassos I've had.

September 22, 2019 - On the nose, I found masses of ripe black cherries, sweet spice, hints of mint, crushed stone, and orange citrus zest. On the palate, I soft, satiny textures were contrasted by zesty red fruits and spice giving way to savory herbs and brisk acids. The finish was long yet vibrant, showing dark fruits and savory spice with a lasting cherry freshness that I went on and on.

August 11, 2019 - Medium weight closer to Valpolicella than Amarone. Many qualities in common with a heavy (cru) Beaujolais or a structured, elegant California pinot. Red fruit (cherry) on the nose is echoed on the palate which shows m(+) body, m(+) tannin and m acid. This is a good quality with good QPR but has some hints of over extraction with limit my score. Consider this a structured Valpolicella but not an amarone replacement.
