Community Tasting Notes 4

November 20, 2020 - Intense and seductive aromas with this slightly rustic overtones with a tighter fruit tone of blackberries, a little stable, graphite and deep salt layer that creates complexity. Good full-bodied and pronounced fresh wine with this slightly coarse rusticity that teases in the middle with great fruit of blackberries, blackcurrants, graphite, salt layers, licorice, leather and wood on a tighter, but excellent finish. Nice acidity and very nice tannin structure. This can withstand a good 15 years.

February 17, 2020 - Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Eden Hotel): Trade tasting, brief note. Slightly green and a but dull, black fruit, slightly course tannins.

July 4, 2018 - Dark and brooding on the nose with earthy, mineral, smoky, dark fruit notes. Quite tannic and grippy, rustic in a good way. Ripe fruit, quite pure and bright, minerality towards the finish. 91-92+

April 26, 2018 - Dark, spicy and soft textured, there is fresh blackberry and cassis with accents of licorice and espresso. The wine is medium bodied and bright, leaving you with an earthy, red berry finish.
