March 16, 2024 - Better than the 2013, 2014, and 2015 but I really did not see the structure that some did. It is not a fruit bomb but I just don't think its memorable either. It is a lighter body wine with a mix of fruit and earthy notes, but I did not think it had the depth and structure to hold it all together.

November 30, 2022 - Wow! Gorgeous. Great depth and breadth of mainly black fruits but with raspberry poking through on the finish. Big structure, well integrated and covered by the fruit.

May 20, 2022 - For some reason, not as good as last year. The finish was a bit off.

January 26, 2022 - Three hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color (more ruby than magenta). Chocolate malt, blackberry, prune, freeze dried raspberry, bay leaf, black tea, and subtle petrol on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying, modestly tart palate. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish.

This is a bit more demure and Bordeaux-like than I would prefer. It’s elegant and well integrated, but drinks below its price point IMHO.

July 21, 2020 - Dark red fruit, forward nose, plums, dark cherries, and hints of a cedar box. Rich and balanced acidity with 30 sec + finish that evolves beautifully. 94-95 points.
