  October 19, 2022 - Savory aromas dominate the nose on this dark, richly textured Cabernet: soy sauce, roast beef, cassis inflected by herbal notes. On the palate, rich with chewy, soft tannins, serious acidity that should fade with age, fruit just barely ripe yet sweet enough to balance, long finish. Excellent. 92 now, maybe 94 at peak.

  January 18, 2022 - This was the remaining half of a bottle we coravined a few weeks ago. Blue and red fruits with mocha. Some lingonberries. Doesn’t quite reach the heights of bottles of the ‘09 and ‘12 but correct from a Pomerol lookalike perspective.

  October 23, 2021 - 3rd bottle pulled late night so not the best timing all things considered as this bottle was locked up tight at first pour.
  
  Day two showing was just what I expected, it's too damn early to be drinking this wine. Muted plums, chocolate and savory red fruits with the new world twist on Saint Emilion but the tannins and energy still needs to integrate. For me, I'll hold these till after 2026.

  July 24, 2021 - Bottle 6/6, unfortunately. This was decanted for about 45 minutes and took a little more time to fully open. Smoky nose with hints of orange peel and raspberry. Silky smooth palate of mocha, flowers, orange peel with an acidic mulberry finish. I believe this only has a touch of Cabernet Franc but it seems to come through in a more pronounced way with violets and other flowers. This totally reminds me of Chateau Lafleur, enough fruit in a very classic style.
