October 7, 2023 - this wine was drank following a 2005 Bordeaux, otherwise it probably would have scored higher, and it wasn't decanted long enough (maybe 30 minutes).
August 26, 2023 - About 45 min double decanted. Not too much going on, rather unidirectional, short finish, a total lay down.
July 16, 2023 - 100% cab sauvignon, ready to drink
13.8% alcohol
Lovely nose, perfect acidity and wonderful complexity

May 6, 2023 - Great wine. Decanted bottle and waited 90 mins before first pour. Improved throughout the night after starting. On brand for Inglenook Rubicon. Classic napa style. Starting to show tertiary notes, but plenty of fruit remains. Can’t wait for next bottle.

February 5, 2023 - Decanted one hour, poured in Zalto, blind tasting. Dark hue with turning autumn borders. First nose of ether. Nice complex flavours of blueberry bonbon, strawberries of the forest, yogourt, then balsamic, cigar box, sandal wood, and underwood tertiary notes. Structured franckly by surprising sharp acidity, nice tannins, coating a very rich core of the previous aromas. Long and powerfull finish. Exceptionnal. A supernova !
February 3, 2023 - Didn’t need to decant. Opened bottle 2 hours before dinner.
Black fruit, red fruit, herbal notes, tobacco, leather, bit of spices (can’t place), hints of cocoa. Finishes balanced and silky. A
September 25, 2022 - I had my last bottle 2.5years ago and it was in an awkward phase, gave it a 89. Really drinking wonderfully now. Very rich and smooth. Oak well integrated. Flavors of blackberry, sweet oak, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, graphite, black cherry, blueberry. Drinking wonderfully. Another 5 years of drinking window, not 10+
September 24, 2022 - I opened this, but did not have time to decant, so I used a vinturi. Deep and dark red/maroon in the glass. No signs of bricking at all. Nose of dark cherry, some blue fruit, mocha. Fairly complex, but more time with air would have improved it I think. On the palate, mid range tannins, and woodsy red fruit. This wine still has plenty of runway left. It was quite good, but I think a decant of at least an hour would have helped.
