June 18, 2021 - Decanted for an hour.
Nose is stewed blackberry with distinct eucalyptus. Touch of vanilla and burnt sugar. Nearly syrupy. Palate is darker than expected from the nose. Rounded dark fruit. Nothing particularly expressive. What do you expect it's a sub$20 bottle. Acidity saves here compared to others at the price point. Tannins a bit forward at this point. Wonder what this mellows out to in 3 years. For now? Great third bottle option for the parties. -

April 25, 2020 - Very approachable on the nose and palate. Dark berry, slight off mint aroma, full in the mouth and cleansing on the finish. A nice representation of cab sauv in this price range.
