September 19, 2023 - Candied cherries, plum aromas. Low acidity and mild tannins, with a bit of sweetness. On the borderline of being cloying due to combination of sweetness and viscosity.

January 11, 2020 - While it doesn't necessarily sink to the level of "swill", I must agree it doesn't even live up to the level of a good house wine I have enjoyed many places in Italy. Sweet alcoholic grape juice; that's it...

July 31, 2019 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of plum, strawberry, smoke, cocoa, rubber, lavender, rose water, and fig. Palate adds vanilla, oak, and bell pepper. Soft tannins, low acidity, smooth finish. Tasty and well-balanced.

    July 3, 2019 - Absolute swill.
Very little Nero d'Avola authenticity. Sweet fruit, sweet tannin, no complexity, poor acid balance.
Run, don't walk in the opposite direction if you see this bottle.

June 27, 2019 - Deep dark purple in the glass. On the sweet side, this wine on the palate featured black cherries, black plum and tobacco.
