May 21, 2009 - Outstanding bottle of barolo for the money. Nose started with a great mix of prunes, jerky, and general meatiness. Actually exactly like a 1995 cornas we drank recently. Nose evolved into more dusty floral fragrance over a couple hours. Still relatively dominated by tannins, though great underlying fruit. Consumed over 5 hours or so, still holding together at the end, though the finish had become nearly too tannic by that point.
