August 21, 2023 - From a 375, this is drinking well and showing no signs of the premature oxidation others have noted here. Haven’t had one of these this young in quite some time…this is truly excellent with more complexity to come with age.
July 1, 2023 - 93 Extraordinario. Amarillo dorado intenso. Adoro esos aromas amargos, de camomila, ceras, muy fragante. En boca está ya maduro, con mucho volumen y con notas amargas y frutales. Muy buen final de boca, muy largo. Lo tomaría cada día.
June 4, 2023 - Bruised apples, mint and / or ginger, hazelnuts and stony minerality; lovely interplay between slight sweetness and acidity on the textural palate. Good energy, very long. Drinking great. I just love the Chenins from Huet. 17.5+/20
May 24, 2023 - Had in a flight with 17 bourg and 16 le mont, plus a 16 foreau. This was lithe and polished, a little wooly lanolin and honeycomb. The most playful and delicate of these 3 Huets. Good showing.
May 18, 2023 - Powerful honeysuckle, orange tropical fruits, pineapple, lemon curd, touch of exotic spice, touch of cream. A powerful white with strong acidity and the littlest bit of a golden tone without little bit of nuttiness Huet ought to have.
It's not a great Huet, but certainly a good one. In a very nice place at the moment as well.
March 4, 2023 - I thought this was pretty underwhelming without much acidty or flavor. Drink any time
February 14, 2023 - No new notes. Always wonderfully baked and bruised - apples and pear and cinnamon spice.
January 6, 2023 - 90 Amarillo dorado. En nariz se muestra inicialmente muy cerrado, notas metálicas. Con el tiempo se abre a miel y fruta madura. En boca es de tacto untuoso, con mucho volumen. Fruta madura , acidez muy correcta, un vino equilibrado y largo.
October 18, 2022 - First sample was direct from the cellar and at 58C/14c the aromas and taste are delightfully syrupy and peachy. Left it to chill and then at the more correct temperature you can appreciate the acidity and crisp apple and pear notes. Very enjoyable
