  March 10, 2023 - Opened, poured and let sit about 1 hr. Quick sip on opening and maybe some dark fruit, but not much; fairly tight; quite structured. Then, after 1 hr from opening: Maybe some dark fruit on the nose. Taste is dark fruit, but still minimal; maybe beginning to unwind; acidity good; balance reasonable; medium+ weight. Over the next 45 min the fruit becomes a tad sweetish; structure softens a bit; reasonable finish. By the end of the glass, tannins are becoming more noticeable, but not a distraction. I have more of these and will wait at least a year to try the next one.
  Day 2: In case anyone is interested and/or thinking it may give a hint as to where this is going: Considerably softer, almost mellow, but still good structure. Nice mouthfeel, good balance, sweetish fruit more in evidence; fairly monotone in taste. Still, minimal traditional cabernet profile, both Day 1 and Day 2. Pleasant wine, but not that interesting after a couple of sips.

  February 21, 2023 - Showing pretty well at this stage but I've had better experiences with this vintage. I believe it would be more advantages to drink this wine sooner rather than later. 92+/ 93 Points.

  January 31, 2022 - Good and enjoyable wine. But not great. Came across a little flat and just not up to typical Quivet / Mike Smith standards for me. Perhaps an off bottle?
