August 20, 2022 - (purchased @ Epicuvin, La Flotte) A real "wow" factor from the first sip. Rich, bready, long and complex. Wish we had a second bottle!

November 12, 2021 - Wow, yum. On the nose: sweet canteloupe and citrus with some vanilla/coconut cream. On the palate: lovely acidity, lemon, wet stone, soft cream...excellent palate density, soft, refined mousse and a touch of white pepper. Elegance and a cool decadence in a glass.

August 8, 2021 - Fortfarande mycket bra. Vinet har utvecklats sedan första flaskan. Mera av mineralitet/våt ull.

I think this is our third bottle of this cuvée; definitely our favorite of the 2012 single cru wines from Bonville. The ripe yellow fruits dominate, lots of ripe peaches, nectarines, apricots, mangos, bananas, pineapple, coconut; it has lots of fresh lactic products such as fresh milk (hot milk as well), cream, butter, maybe some Comté cheese; white chocolate and chai spices, white pepper, some honey, cookies, and raw almonds; oxidative sherry-driven finish.
Lovely creamy texture and a very pleasant moderate acidity; we love the concentration and ripeness of this wine that for us is very representative of the terroir of Avize. Very enjoyable to drink already in its youth, but with a lot of clear ageing potential. I hope we’re lucky enough to drink this again in another 5+ years.

September 1, 2020 - I have tried all the "Pur" several times during 2020. Avize is my favorite at this point, but perhaps that changes after some years in the cellar. I believe this is one of the best if not THE best 2012 Champagne i tried during 2020. Still Young but definitely great potential. Explosive taste of tropical fruit, chalk and acidity. Recommend
