  January 4, 2020 - P&P, the fruity bouquet sort of explodes from the bottle, no coaxing needed. Black fruit on the nose, cherry and cassis, with vanilla and something floral I couldn't identify; no green pepper. Fruit and bitter chocolate on the palate, lush body, finishes on a sweet note with fine tannins. Alcohol 14.5%, covered. At this stage a simple pleasure.

  May 3, 2018 - Nine Hats: Bright purple. Tangy red and black currants and cherries with sweet coffee, cocoa powder and cola aromas. Plush and juicy on the palate with medium-soft tannins and medium acidity. Chewy black cherry and blueberry fruit, with coffee grounds, cocoa powder and toasty oak. Easy-drinking, more complex than a lot of Cabs at this price point.
