    November 20, 2018 - Terrific. Balanced with fruit and tannins playing nicely. Seems peak but will hang for a bit.

    August 20, 2018 - Really nice mature Napa mountain fruit. A little spicy and super ripe. Could be more complex, but I don't think this has much to gain, I think it's at peak now. Drink soon- next 2-4 years for sure.

    May 11, 2018 - Bordeaux profile is most evident now. Tertiary flavors are pronounced. I do think it is at its peak right now.

    April 28, 2018 - I ws tempted to rate this a bit lower. Reason: the fruit has receded. But the wine has evolved quite nicely also. The fruit is no longer dominant; tertiary flavors for the mountain wine has now stood should to should with it. The silkiness I reported in 23010 is completely gone now, replaced by a more bordeaux profile. A glass I had the following day showed the fruit in fact depend a bit but still a co-captain with the Structure. It's quite ready now, and some may say just the other side of peak. But I enjoyed it. Drink now.

    February 3, 2018 - Similar notes to previous tasting but slightly more closed. While I liked it it is possibly driven by the tannin more so than just a few months ago. I believe it needs to evaluated in the context of an older wine. The wine is transitioning and expectations need to change. Still enjoyable.

    October 21, 2017 - Tobacco leaf aromatics tonight. On the tongue the wine is acidic with notes of fresh black cherries and a bell pepper finish.

    This wine requires decanting for some time ..... 2-3 hours
