December 31, 2020 - First vintage of Old Vines Pinot Noir.

Ekstra: Yderst behagelig at drikke.

96 P. Rober P: This is the first non-vineyard designate made by Jim Maresh.

December 3, 2020 - Medium ruby core. Cranberry, strawberry and cherry on the nose, slightly volatile. Light-bodied and fresh, faithfully mirroring the nose. Delightful.

November 10, 2020 - Decanted about 30 to 40 minutes. Expressive nose showing red and black cherry and some earth. Cherry cola, cranberry and cherry on the palate. A great wine, and I think it will only get better from here. Actually meant to decant this longer, but got distracted cooking. 92-93

July 26, 2020 - med/full weight, velvet texture, earth and flowers; decanted 90 mins

June 16, 2020 - My first bottle of this and I was quite “taken” with it. It is a translucent medium ruby color with a crimson edge, especially when swirled. The nose is fragrant with a hint of vanilla, nice floral components (roses and violets) and a melange of red berries...strawberry, raspberry and red cherry then just a whisp of menthol/mint. The palate is bright with acidity for structure but low in tannin. The texture is lean but packed with flavors that range from the cherry and other red berries to stony minerals and earth, spices and the menthol that sticks the finish which is quite long. Really a nice wine with a grilled flank steak.
