May 16, 2019 - Strong varietal character, judiciously oaked, sturdy frame, very good balance.

March 16, 2019 - This medium ruby/red wine is a blend of 89% Tempranillo and 11% Syrah, sourced from Cougar Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. Red fruit aromas and flavors are front and center, with a nice core of raspberry and pomegranate accented with black tea, pine nuts and dried herbs. Medium-bodied and without detectable alcohol (12.9%), it stays solid and pure in the middle and closes with a medium-length finish that has good lift. Cougar Crest has done an admirable job with a variety that often has disappointing results outside of Spain. Drink now-2022.

December 31, 2018 - Mighty tasty. Lots a fruit jucy goodness. Was even lots better after warming up from the 56 degree cellar. I like this winery. Gorgeous tasting room.

October 3, 2018 - Bright red fruits backed by an appealing dry clay element. Very good balance. Rock solid.
