August 9, 2022 - Opened another one of these tonight and now I have to amend my previous review… I could definitely drink this every night.

April 21, 2022 - This was stinky and awkward and great. Cork smelled like fresh lilies upon opening. Decanted for 1-2 hours then drank over 4. Smoked roses, barnyard, horse foam. Couldn’t do it every night but so good.

December 2, 2021 - Grand Cru Shiraz (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): Jubey, pretty but concentrated blackberry fruit, touches of peppery spice with polished oak, a little sweaty horse. Medium plus intensity acidity, big chalky tannins, quite savoury on the palate, fruit a little muted beneath this. Time should help.

October 7, 2021 - Had this at the same time as Meal, Pavillon, Ermite and Clos. The most closed wine of the group. Nothing I did was able to wake up this wine. Seems more earthy than the other wines, has power and lots of concentration but they don't seem to want to show up at this point. This needs a really good aging... bottle was decanted 2 hours and then put back on the bottle for 2 hours. Potentially higher score down the road.
