  November 26, 2022 - Dark garnet colored, medium full bodied, layers of firm bright black fruits with notes of dusty cedar, aged leather and spice, with notes of mocha chocolate and plum, with moderate tannins on the finish.

  April 22, 2022 - Brief note from a taste courtesy of P&R. Dark in color, throwing just a bit of chunky sediment. Blackberry and plum, with hints of chocolate. There’s a subtle floral undertone. Has some tannin to integrate. I’d give this a few years yet as it feels a bit young, though already very tasty.
  
  Great winemakers and their teams will make great wines, even in “poor” vintages. These days there are very few vintages that should truly be avoided or considered inferior.
