May 12, 2023 - Opened, poured and let sit about 30 min. Not much on the nose, but sweet red fruit taste. Soft mouthfeel; acidity and tannins not an issue; not quite in balance, but it didn't detract; fruit stays through the finish. My last bottle of this vintage and probably the best (not that its saying much compared to the others). This has developed into a pleasant wine and worked well with chicken parm.

December 5, 2022 - Having reviewed this 3 times and not found it a nice drink, I wasn't going to bother with a 4th, but this one is better. One glass Thursday, one Friday, and then this one Monday. Pretty consistent over all 3 glasses: Reddish fruit, decent balance; mouthfeel OK; tannins and acidity OK; fruit stays with it over the finish. This was a pleasant, almost interesting glass of wine, with a hint that it might improve with more time.

October 28, 2022 - Opened, poured and let sit about 40 min. Then: Maybe some darkish fruit and some leather on the nose. Taste starts out darkish but moves to more reddish fruit; maybe some leather; medium+ acidity; tannins noticeable but not a problem. By the end of the glass reddish fruit, acidity still there, and tannins very prominent. Not a good finish. Another "different" bottle from the other 2 I've had, and not in a particularly good way.

September 13, 2022 - Opened, poured and let sit about 40 min. Then: Not much of anything on the nose. Taste is dark fruited and somewhat muddled, although muted; a bit of acid; tannins not much of an issue. This is marginally better than the 6/16/2022 bottle: not as acidic; no mustiness; a bit more fruit. Still needs food.

June 16, 2022 - Opened, poured and let sit 45 min. Then: Red/black fruit on the nose, but doesn't quite carry over to the taste. First sip is some darkish fruit, but most noticeable is the acidity, drying tannins on the finish, and a bit of mustiness. The mustiness slowly fades over time and the tannins soften, but still not much fruit and the acidity still is there. This really needs food to counteract the acidity. Not sure where this is going, but at this point it is not interesting and not that pleasant to drink.
