September 30, 2019 - Delicious Willamette Pinot Gris with slight effervescence, moderate viscosity, honey and citron on the palate.
August 30, 2019 - Am guessing this is a large production wine, although the web site doesn't provide the details on production. Lots of bottle variation. Roll of the dice whether you get an 87 or a 91.
June 23, 2019 - Very nice Gris. More nuanced than others.
May 18, 2019 - Pacific Northwest Tasting (San Diego Wine Co.): 100% Pinot Gris sourced from Foley Family Estate & Olson Vyd; Aged 2 mos in used FR oak; 13.1% ABV & 3.20 pH; 6,449 cases produced.
WAY too cold
N: Slightly closed; Earth, minerals
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt delightfully counterbalanced by tangy acidity which evolves into a LONG, poss very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with a tanginess & HINT of swtness. For now & through '20. My VG+; [This vendor's $13.99 puts it @ the TOP of wine-searcher's postings.]
April 23, 2019 - I am guessing this is the best U.S. Pinot Gris/Grigio I have tasted. Not the typical thinness and acidity of Pinot Grigio and not the flabby sweetness of many Pinot Gris. Maybe King Estate has something comparable in this price range. Will buy more at the next sale--at $14 a real bargain.
February 8, 2019 - This Willamette Valley Pinot Gris was surprisingly packed with flavor.
Pale yellow in color. Deliciously bright, fresh and crisp. Aromas of tropical fruit emit from the glass. The palate provides a creamy mouthfeel loaded with flavors of pineapple, lemon and a hint of stonefruits. The bright acidity lingers on the finish.
February 7, 2019 - pineapple ,pear nice fruit forward pinot gris..bigger than anticipated..enjoyed with a grilled shrimp dish
