September 18, 2015 - Dark deep red in colour, lovely open sweet nose of black fruit with a bit of liquorice and pepper.
Firm full mouthful with black currant/black cherry fruit with subtle spice, rounded tannins and lovely balance and long finish.
Really good, shame this is the only bottle I have!

June 12, 2014 - this was the replacement wine for my corked bottle, and it was decanted for 30min and was excellent the merlot fruit was opening up with french sensibility really lovely

April 30, 2013 - Nice and fully mature, balanced, but not very complex. Unmemorable.
April 13, 2011 - Black at the core, with a purple rim. Appealing nose showing black currant, plum and some espresso. Very approachable wine. Full bodied with more plums and brooding black fruits. Tobacco and some earth. Wonderfully balanced. This shows all of that dark fruit and brooding elements, but it is cut with acidity. The tannins are silky smooth and the length is just amazing.
This is in a great place for such a young wine. It really strikes a chord with me of hitting that right note between complexity worth pondering and pleasant drinking.
