    September 2, 2018 - Straight up: I prefer 1928 solera Maury to this. It's very sweet, and as indicated, rather like an old Madeira. It's not fully balanced by acid or tannins though. It just tastes like an old Madeira, or perhaps an old colheita port. It might be better paired with something that can counterbalance the sweetness, but I had it solo.
