September 15, 2022 - Purchased on release and light amber yellow with lemon hazelnut nose. Powerful mature thick palate of almond coated stones trailing into a whiff of butterscotch-delicious with crab cake appetizer. Best now to 2028.

October 7, 2021 - Bottle breathe for 30 min. Nose with honey, wax, and sugar crane. Full body palate surrounded by honey, zest and flower. Not overly complex but nice. Better after 30 min in the glass. Medium finishing.

January 29, 2021 - A nice buttered nose and on almonds.

The touch is smooth but remains lively, it's precise. The wine is very pleasant but its presence fades with the aeration. First the nose, but it is especially the finish that is lacking. While the mouth suggests a lot, it falls quickly, too bad, the length is short, like a feeling of cut ...

This wine is not able to give something more tbh

November 12, 2020 - Colour is good, consistent with age, no darkness. Fine on nose, nuts, butter - clear. On palate rich attack, then lush mid-palate. Acidity present but something of a rearguard. Quite long - distinctive "stony" note as it develops. Good finish. I can see this dividing opinion. For me my score is slightly restrained. A treat.

August 17, 2019 - Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: Rich nose of bee wax, nuts, red apples, is there a touch of oxidation? may be. In any case the wine was closed but had racy acidity. Disjointed, some loved it more than me. May be needs more time. 92+

March 24, 2019 - On its downward slope but drinkable. Best with red cake dessert, but since it was my birthday this might be subjective.

January 30, 2018 - Fairly mature and showing its age, would be opening these.

Dommage !

July 19, 2017 - Meursault les Perrières Dinner, Top Producers (The Bristol - Chicago IL): In 99/02/04 vertical. Peach, baked apple, toasted walnuts and sweet spice with very good density, weight and length. Slightly short on acidity, and correspondingly very advanced. Better a few years back, but still enjoyable.

July 19, 2017 - Buttery rich big shows age but still quite good, yet quickly fades. Past prime.
