June 22, 2019 - Intense. First smell and taste is boysenberry. Lots of blueberry pie. Some dark chocolate. Very similar to high end Turley Petite Syrah.

May 14, 2019 - Wild wine. Powerfully seductive dark ripe blackberry, blueberry, & plums in classic SQN sexy silky milk chocolate style. Usually large scale savory spices upfront that quickly fade off along with the fruit. In essence, a beautiful blast of upfront goodness that then dissipates in mid palate and falls off kind of quickly. A fun ride and very interesting yet perhaps not as profound as Syrah & Grenache in the same deft hands.

May 12, 2019 - First time, did not know what to expect other than the masters touch.
Bitter chocolate, nutmeg, tannins have a dry effect without the chalkiness.
A great new taste I look forward to meeting again.
