    May 15, 2023 - Dekantert og helt tilbake på flaske 3t før servering. Klar, dyp brunrød. Overraskende brun i kantene mtp alder. Middels intens på nese, med høy kompleksitet, men overraskende kraftig preg av tertiæraromaer. Av frukt kjennes hint av plomme. Ellers svart pepper, timian, vanilje, brent tre, steinsopp, trøffel, mandler, hasselnøtt, sjokolade, kaffe og lær. Hissig munnfølelse med svært høyt, bitende tanninnivå. Syren kjennes medium+. Totalt blottet for frukt. Smak av nøtter, lær, tobakk og sopp. Middels lang.

    April 18, 2023 - Nose: Rich and earthy. Strawberries, black berries, flowers, leather, black truffle and hint of oak.

    Palate: Full-bodied with good concentration. Balanced and fruity. Smooth tannins with a long spicy finish.

    Note: Needs two to three hours in decanter. Good development, with a lot of primary fruit. Excellent to drink now, with storage potential the next ten years.

    December 30, 2022 - Day1: Lots of fresh fruit on the nose immediately after pour. This goes away after about 15-30min and you are left with more dark berries and licorice. Super dry in the mouth at first pour. Opened up a lot over 2h in the glass.
    Day2: Still fresh fruit on the nose after pour. Goes away even faster than day one. Tannins have receded a lot and the wine is very drinkable. Demands food.

    September 30, 2022 - Rusty red color. Truffle, mushroom, leather and blackcurrant. A little tannins and alcohol, but still quite smooth. Opens up after 1-2 hours of air. Balanced and long. Impressive wine!

    February 11, 2021 - Dekantert. Noe likegyldig. Frukt, men munnen tørker ut. Kjenner ikke igjen barolo, heller ikke bordeaux. Nebiolo på nese, helt klart. Lettdrikkelig, joda, men det er ikke det som er poenget med en barolo!

    January 29, 2021 - Smell of blackcurrant, leather, mushroom and oak. Taste of Black berries and plum. Young, firm tannins and a long exit.

    September 13, 2020 - Spesiell siden den er kun laget i en årgang og på en metode som er 100 år gammel . Skuffet på ingen måte . Myke tanniner , mye røde bær og lakris , god . smakte veldig godt til pepperbiff av ytrefiilet
