September 13, 2019 - We've been going through these on a fairly regular basis this summer. Classic Albariño profile of saline minerality and citric fruit. This one has enough heft to it (dry extract) to distinguish itself from the commercial efforts we most commonly see here. The last bottle seemed the best to us so perhaps this wine has a life ahead of it. Our remaining bottles are unlikely to see 2020 IMO.

July 17, 2019 - Prior bottle was only a month ago, but this bottle showed a clear step better. Tart, but expressive white orchard fruit on the nose (especially pear) along with citrus qualities and then peach and floral notes as it warmed. Close to medium bodied with white apple and pear upfront, but the mid-body was much more open and complex than my bottle in June, showing white peach with good depth. The integration between the upfront white fruit notes and the mid-body also seemed cleaner and the fruit seemed more defined. Citrus and nicely tart acidity come in on the backside, providing contrast. Integration was a step up from the June bottle as was the overall harmony. Could've been serving temperature (slightly warmer this time), time open (a bit longer this time), or simply positive bottle variation, but this wine was really shining. I plan to open my next bottle in November 2019 and hope for a similar experience.

June 16, 2019 - Pear, melon and lots of floral notes on the attractively aromatic nose. Nearly medium bodied (12.5% ABV) and rounder and more open than the crisp-styled nose would initially suggest. Shows a mixture of apple and pear upfront and through the middle and then switches to a noticeably more tart grapefruit and citrus on the back, coupled with very good acidity. Length mineral and floral notes on the finish. The contrast is handled quite well, creating a wine with very good balance and an overall liveliness. Should continue to drink well over the next 12-18 months, but this is a wine for current enjoyment, not something to put to the side. Next bottle for me will be July 2019.

April 11, 2019 - Very nice bottle of wine. Saline frame, citrus, white flowers, and red apple with just enough acids. Recommended!

March 27, 2019 - Are you kidding me for $20? Beautiful wine. Flowers and ocean spray on the nose. The palate is mouth puckering lemon-lime with some salt. Simple, but delicious. Now give me some grilled white fish tacos or shrimp.
