April 27, 2024 - Well balanced
March 31, 2024 - Montmorency cherries with full mouth feel. Little bit of stem tannins on finish but very slight. Overall my kind of Pinot. Perfect heavier Burgundian style with willamette fruit. Wish I had more.
November 25, 2023 - Nose: blackberries and tobacco
Taste: cherries and light tannins. Sort of a classic Burgundian Pinot.
October 29, 2023 - 30 minute decant.
Translucent and some forest floor. Very light, nontsnins and inoffrsivr. No wow factor and my glass stayed full a long time. This was not a " cant wait to take another sip wine" for me
Had last bottle a few years ago and I much preferred that last bottle to this one. The bottle last time jad some good funk and paired great eitj mushroom dishes. this one was all muted. Had with Cou cu vin and was a fine pairing but again no wow factor. Poor QPR for me based on this bottle. I would rather have Roserock base eola bottling at almost half the price.
1 bottle left not sure to dronk noe or hold...
September 18, 2023 - Another very nice bottle of this; red fruits, sweet baking spice, good depth; very enjoyable.
August 9, 2023 - Drank by my wife
July 3, 2023 - Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): Fresh darker and almost a bit brooding in style. Gets to some black cherry at the end. There’s kind of a veil across the wines which might be the slightly higher use of new oak. But gives the feeling that it needs time to come into itself.
June 21, 2023 - Inexpressive nose, cherry cola and a slight funk. Medium acidity, wimpy, spent tannins. Easy drinking, but little interest. Will not get better from here, crappy qpr.
May 20, 2023 - Nice mix of spicy undergrowth and ripe but very bright fruit. On the palate more fruit forward but still complex enough (good acidity) for it to stay interesting for the subsequent glasses. Partner says “sunshine captured in a wine”.
April 27, 2023 - Excellent vintage…aged nicely!
