Community Tasting Notes 4

June 3, 2023 - {Tasted at Confrerie Paulee} This, and the Henri Boillot 2007 Corton Charlemagne, were the two best standout wines of 60+ tasted over a long afternoon. Some little matchstick but most striking was the phenolic, almost oily, ripeness and completeness of fruit ... and unreal length. Superb depth.

August 10, 2021 - Started out quite tight. But after a decant it started to be more resolved and balance. Lots of white fruits apples, peaches and lime. Beautiful but over the drinking window started to fade a lottle.

January 28, 2021 - Corton dinner. Another very good showing of this wine. Forgot that I had it before. Lots of match stick in the nose, complex with lemon, flowers and minerals. Great freshness, imposing, creamy, very good palate too. Excellent package. 96+

January 17, 2020 - During a Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. Excellent showing, everything dialed up, lemon cream, minerals, oak.
