April 16, 2021 - Deep purple. Dark fruit jam, rhubarb, licorice, and eucalyptus nose. Concentrated fruit jam flavors on palate. Medium acidity. It was ok. 84 pts

    July 22, 2020 - Appearance: deep ruby
Nose: medium intensity; aromas of black cherry, violet, blueberry, roasted nuts, mocha, smoke, leather, a little pickled savoury. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins (smooth), high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity. A little caramel and cola coming through and lovely dragon fruit characters at the back of palate. The finish is medium plus.
Overall, it’s a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for further ageing.
Beautiful wine. A lot of blue fruits with still fair bits of oak notes at the moment. With 2 hours decanting, savoury and spicy notes start to evolve. Still have a lot of years ahead of it.

April 10, 2020 - Appearance : deep ruby with legs and little petillance

On nose : high intensity, dark fruit : cherry, black plum, lichorice, tobacco, leather, salty mineral, vanilla oak, black pepper, quiet complex.

On palate : high intensity flavour, a bit off dry, high acidity, sweet dark fruit dominated on the front palate, med+ and sweet tannin and full body on mid palate, high alcohol but not throat burning(14.5% abv), with warm black pepper spiciness and salty mineral aftertaste, med and pleasent finishing.

This is a very good wine, just only that the finishing is not as long as I expected. Overall speaking it is an elegant one but still can be distinguished from the old world. I matched with my home made crispy Chinese style BBQ pork belly and prime cut steak in my Good Friday dinner. I suggest to drink it now as you can enjoy the sweet fruitiness and the complex aroma. Cheers!

October 3, 2019 - Australian Wine Far from Ordinary Trade Tasting, San Francisco, what a wonderful wine, age really helps this score today, smooth, old, inky, syrup, great QPR for me as I normally avoid Shiraz.
