February 17, 2024 - Absolutely opaque purple. Nose is plum, smoke, flowers. Palate is wow, so high in alcohol yet fresh fruit, bright, medium length. A conundrum, this was pretty amazing given the labelled 16% alcohol but I found it hard to drink. It's remarkable it was even drinkable at that much alcohol. Kind of compelling though.

June 20, 2022 - Strong note of sewer upon opening. Settles down a bit with air but never dissapears. Also beetroot, decaying leafs, dry herbs, smoke and liquorice. Rustic. Good acidity. Medium weight and lenght.

A "special" wine. Interesting but regretably more so than accually enjoyable. Still good.

September 29, 2021 - 15% ABV on the label, but tastes surprisingly medium bodied with some really unique minerality and medium+ acidity. On the dark fruit end of the spectrum with graphite, smoke and truffle notes adding interest.

    Very intriguing wine

August 13, 2021 - Funky, gamey and ashy notes here with hints of pickled vegetables. Sour dough. Some painting stuff/ nail polish remover. Tannic and astringent. Hot on the finish. Disappointment.

July 17, 2021 - Au debut, un gros cote nature, sensuit apres 30 minutes, un vin limite lourdeau, on sent l’alcool. De l’etna plus fonce avec de la chaleur. Pas un coup de coeur ici, surtout pour le prix.
