September 17, 2020 - Excellent qpr at $27. Just a gorgeous wine for the price. Lovely Sta Rita red fruit. Very smooth and easy to drink. Best day 1.
December 14, 2019 - Ruby-garnet; cherry cola, strawberries, floral; kirsch liquor, earth, medium body, good acidity, fine tannins, good finish
Smooth with black cherry, sweet strawberry and a complex rustic quality. Another excellent cali pinot.
July 12, 2019 - Pop and pour. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, earth and currant. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, boysenberry and rhubarb. Ends with a 20+ second finish with rhubarb notes. Little different than I expected but very nice. Lot of red fruits.
April 14, 2019 - Popped and decanted 30 min...thought it needed it. Nice cherry red fruits and deep ruby with med body. Nice smooth finish with a bit of acidity to balance. Good QPR @ $19 will need to try another.
December 15, 2018 - Solid. Red fruit, cola, a little spice.
October 26, 2018 - PnP. Lots of big, red Sta Rita fruit with some playful tannins. Good qpr.
October 22, 2018 - PNP and consumed over several hours. Personally, I enjoy silky soft Pionts with rich flavor and refined tannins. This wine contained none of those attributes, but rather was edgy with a very clipped finish. Only confirms my belief that WS has no credibility.
September 14, 2018 - This is a nice simple wine. Very fresh, lots of red crushed fruit on the palate, medium nose of red berries again, very short finish. Held up well in wine fridge with air pumped out for 1 night, but lost its freshness after 2nd night, but still was pleasant to drink. I'd say it's a good buy when under $20, but just ok QPR when over $20. Overall, still a good simple wine.
