March 29, 2023 - Opened after the first bottle was corked. Dark fruit and strong acid dominate but the tannins have smoothed out and it makes for a great match with broiled rack of lamb.

May 18, 2022 - A really nice bottle of wine. Soft tannins that are very well integrated, lots of red and black fruits. Great QPR, this is drinking really well right now. Drink now.

January 24, 2021 - This is similar to a bottle drunk almost exactly two years ago, but with softer tannins and distinct cherry fruit on both the nose and the palate. This can be drunk now with a few hours of air.

January 4, 2021 - Classic. Still have solid black fruits rounding off volcanic and mossy vibes. Old pipe too. Good stuff.

January 21, 2019 - Pen ink and camphor on the nose; on the palate, rich dark and red fruit with notes of savory spice (juniper berries?) and powerful tannins on the medium finish, with strong acidity. Although this is excellent, it's still young and needs three to five years to absorb more of its tannins. This was an excellent value at a little over $40.

December 17, 2018 - Aromas of brimstone, leather and axle grease. I’ve had Cornas directly from barrel that was less savage. There is Barolo that hasn’t been grown yet that might be more ready to drink than this. Still, one can see the potential here. Hold for 5 years minimum.
