Community Tasting Notes 3

July 28, 2018 - Dark burgundy in color. On the nose it has an oak and fruit aroma, like I just walked into a wine cellar. That always makes me enjoy the wine even more. The taste was dark fruit and maybe black current, with medium acidity and medium tannin. It is full bodied, dry and on the pallet it is fruit forward, bold and silky. Nice lingering finish.

July 1, 2018 - Way too sweet and grape juicy and flavors. Of over 50 malbecs tasted this is by far the worst. Also the only negative one. Even non-Argentina malbecs have all been way superior.

June 21, 2018 - This is a very fruity wine with berries and dark fruits. Nice oak on the finish with hints of vanilla. The fruit carries through the finish a bit. This wine needs time top open up, and I think it would do well with a year or two in the bottle.
