Community Tasting Notes 1

March 23, 2024 - Shocked to see that I’m the first one to write a review of this wine. In its eighth year of maturity, this wine is drinking beautifully. The decadent nose, offers notes of Cassis, blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, potting soil, and a hint of wet earth. The palate follows suit, showing loads of black fruit, silky tannins, and a refined acidity that does not overpower the fruit. Obviously showing some complexity based on bottle age, but not overly complex. Pleasurable though. This is one of the better village level burgundy wines I’ve ever had. Plenty of life left too!
