August 20, 2021 - From magnum. Quite alive, which is something. Good clean fruit, could pass for 1970s.

    March 5, 2019 - Vandermeulen Bottling, Mid-Shoulder
Nose of cranberry and apricot, decayed, mild hints of gravel, cigar box, and mint; smooth, balanced, poised, extremely long lived and perfectly coating the palate, extending the experience yet further; sensations of fruit, gravel, tobacco, mild sous bois
After 1 Hour: Nose more integrated; palate more substantial and more classic, fuller, tannins are clearer and gravel emerging more definitively, fruit more defined, long beautiful deep finish
After 2 Hours: Nose more powerful with notes of barnyard and anise beginning to dominate; palate is rich, opulent, luxurious, mouth-coating, subtle in taste, expansive in texture
Beautifully aged Bordeaux, subtle, without tremendous complexity, but elegant, refined, pleasing, well preserved, and a delight to drink

June 9, 2018 - World's Greatest, Hong Kong - Night III (8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Macau): [Magnum] Initially a little dark but swirling gets you a dense and rich perfume. Black current and black cherry still. This is blossoming and standing up to the sensational ‘45 Mouton. Smoky, chocolatey, savoury. The youth on the palate here is unbelievable as well as has dense and sweet black cherry, a lot of delicious ripeness. I really enjoyed this, sweet and savoury, a wine you can chew on.

March 17, 2018 - Beginning to oxidize but still representative. Good length on the palate despite the fraying.

September 2, 2017 - Soft and typical, with fading red fruit. Began to thin on the palate after 30 minutes. 93-
