August 5, 2023 - Only slight colour maturation. Stone fruit citrus and touch of cream/almond meal on the nose. Floral elements too. Quite full on the palate with peach almost flirting with apricot characteristics (but not quite). Good line of acid carries some citrus through the finish which is quite long and clean. Amazing QPR. Excellent!

May 19, 2023 - Oaky almost smokey aroma. Medium bodied with flavours of pear and peach with a lovely crispness and just a hint of oak in the background.

June 14, 2019 - Screwcap, 13.2% alc., Light pale colour.

Mosel Riesling-like nose of peach, grapefruit, lemon, smoky reduction, and herbs.

Light mouthfeel, oak merely a seasoning.

Opinion: Lovely estate-level chardonnay. Great value for money. Buy with confidence for drinking over the short term.

March 23, 2019 - Screwcap. Pale lemon yellow.

Some oak and smoky sulphur reduction initially, but opens up to reveal lemon and peach. Lovely minerality.

Beautiful balance. Light bodied for a chardonnay. Excellent length for its price point.

Opinion: Excellent value chardonnay. Very enjoyable with veal saltimbocca.

January 4, 2019 - Lovely chardonnay and great value. Balance of grapefruit and peach with the oak giving it a hint of coconut. If I had the space in my wine storage, I'd cellar some, but for now the 1er will take the available space.
