May 4, 2023 - Part of a Star Wars Night with my wine group, where all the wines we had were from Force Majeure. I see my score is much lower than the current CT score, but this was just so overly tannic that it was hard to get past that and enjoy the wine. Some of my group loved it. It was open, but not decanted for over 2 hours before pouring. Even the steaks didn't help resolve the tannins.

December 10, 2022 - Decanted for about 30 minutes and drank over another 45 or so. This was the best Washington Cab I have had this year. The gritty texture of the tannins were perfect and the dark fruit with the tannins were balanced incredibly well. The only knock is the finish is shorter than I would have expected from the initial taste. I wish I had a lot more of these.

June 18, 2022 - Almost exactly 1 year after and what a difference already. At 8 hours in the decanter it was just marvelous and kept getting better even after. Lush and velvety and a lot of earthy notes to complement it.

January 9, 2022 - This bottle was better than the others, great dark blue and black fruits, loads of baking spices, dried violets, dried earth, medium + acid and medium + tannin that coat the mouth but sweet and fine grain. This has perfect balance and drinkable now but really needs 3-5 years. I love this wine.

June 21, 2021 - On pnp the nose is a massive fruit explosion, so ripe and Napa like. After 2 h of air the classic Red Mountain wet gravel notes take over and it is a beautiful wine to slowly enjoy sip after sip, the wine just keeps opening up. Had it initially at 65 degrees and it was much better than in later stages when it was a bit warmer. 94-95 for now but it will be even better within the next 5 years. (IMHO)
