December 3, 2016 - Finally opened this wine that I overpaid fof at a chairity auction. It was donated by Tim Timkin and I am sure he knew it was shit but took a big tax break for it. Shame on you Tim Timkin of Canton Ohio! Never again will I buy wine at a chairity event donated by a wealthy guy!

February 20, 2016 - Still good - meaning still drinkable - good may be too strong. Took a little time to shake the dust off. Soil. Cherry. Good acid. Very interesting. Was good with food. I have no basis for comparison for when the wine was younger - but it did seem to be thinning with age and if formerly had more complexity and fruit much of that is now gone.

Nevertheless - not unpleasant and interesting to see which flavors are still prominent after 46 years...

October 30, 2009 - Way past its time. Bot, or should I say, was scammed into buying by a tim timken donation at a charity auction. He knew it was bad but took the deduction. Let the buyer beware!!! Dumped the bottle

May 10, 2004 - Marvellous reddish orange colour. Quite open and entycing on the nose with hints of wild berries and bark. In the mout the wine was thin and diluted with a short and bitter aftertaste. There wasn't much in the way of complexity or fruit left.
