November 19, 2023 - Need to breath after opening.
It started with a closed nose, and a first mouth feeling of slight biterness /sourness.
this has disappeared half an hour later

November 9, 2023 - I have been disappointed in this wine from the start. This bottle was a little better. I originally thought the issue might have been caused by bad shipping along the way. However, I see that my numerical ratings are in the same range as with other tasters. Hence, I have to conclude that the Pro rater that I used to find this wine just had it wrong.

June 22, 2021 - Fruit driven nose with vibrant fruit, medium plus oak, raspberry and some herbal notes… Eucalyptus? Not nearly as dark or lush as a New World syrah, definitely shows old world pedigree.
Very dry on the palate, again pleasantly lacking the darkness typical to the varietal. This went very well w our pasta starters (Sophia Loren and Bolognese) and chicken dish.
