June 9, 2019 - Russk. I enjoyed it more this time. Not impossibly austere.

May 23, 2019 - Pale yellow colour, has some small bubbles of carbonic acid, smells of mango and in the background slightly of lovage, light body, very dry, almost austere, medium acidity, in both the mouth and aftertaste mango and a little bit of lovage, good length (15 sec), in my opinion this wine is unbalanced, a little bit more residual sugar would have been better, not my style of wine, will not buy again.

April 27, 2019 - Blind Wine Tasting (San Diego Wine Co.): WAY too cold

N: Apples/pears with undertones of minerals

P: Med, poss LM, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (suspect threshold R.S.) DEFTLY counterbalanced by an acidity wich defines the wine into & through the LONG, balanced, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with notes of tangy/swtness. SHOULD do well with lighter fare. For now & into, poss through, '21. 13% ABV; My VG+. [I saw no other source with which to compare this vendor's $15.99.]

FYI, I misidentified this as being the '17 Fillaboa "Rias Biaxas" AlbariƱo. :(

January 30, 2019 - After 1 hr aeration typical von Buhl nose.
On the mid-palate it misses depth and structure. The wine somehow bridges this weakness with strong acidity and this also dominates the aftertaste with a slight salty / citrus note. Really dry mouthfeel which is good.
Solid Riesling for everyday - nothing more nothing less.
