April 8, 2023 - almost 5 years since my last bottle and this wine is in a beautiful place now

Colour ruby red , translucent, caramel hues slight bricking 15/15
Nose red fruits , strawberry , cherry, plum , with spice and fragrant dark red rose petals , good intensity and balance 27/30
Palate med bodied excellent mouthfeel , ton of acidity ,red fruit flavours , spice ,extended finish with mouth watering acidity 41/44
Overall drinking beautifully now , I think 5-6 years is the ideal maturity for Serrat Pinots 11/11

March 5, 2022 - Open theme with Nangfa Kitchen: Very good Yarra Valley Pinot. Deep red in colour, plenty of red cherries, it showed good restraint - not too fruit-forward with a lovely backbone and acidity on the finish. Excellent value here.

June 11, 2019 - Was glad to see it on a restaurant wine list after missing out at release. Although it did reinforce my disappointment on not getting any. This is a beauty. The nose is alluring. It was served a bit cold so took some time to open up in the glass, but when it did, it turned heads at the table. Cherry, ash and some delicate strawberry notes ahead of a long finish. Moreish. Yum.

August 10, 2018 - Clear, dark ruby red, a little bit of purple.

Nose is clean with plenty of strawberries, cherries, herbal/mint tea, white pepper, tar.

Medium bodied, soft tannins, medium acidity. taste is similar to the nose. Finish is medium.

It's a very good wine that drinks well now and pairs with light food. possibly could be a little more complex and time will probably make it even better.

August 7, 2018 - Surely there is no Pinot in Aus as good as this at this price point ($44) at the moment. Truly captivating. No wonder it sold out on the day it was released to its loyal members. Tom Carson said it was his best Pinot from Serrat to date.

OH ...! Oh, the nose on this Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.

    Utterly beguiling.

Think fudge, the deepest, sweetest dark cherries, black tar melting in the sun, ash and separately cigar box (on steroids), roses, soft background hints of strawberries and lashings of double cream. Light/medium in weight. Clean, dry, minerally mid-palate drive. Soft, savoury lift. Cherries, plums and blackberries. Ashen, fine French oak inspired finish.

    Smitten!

It's a classic in the making and should evolve to even greater heights from 3-6 years. A Wozza 96/100 from me.
