February 8, 2024 - Transparent garnet
Aromas of rose, raspberry, lavender, butter fudge and baked earth.
Light weight. Soft tannins. Fresh orangey acids and delicate cranberry bitterness.
Palate of rowanberry sauce, rosemary, roasted almond, cherry preserve, ocean brine and redcurrant.
A fresh, light and elegant wine with pure red fruit, wonderful acidity and a mineral finish.
Tasted alongside Baettig, Los Parientes Pinot Noir 2021 and the present wine is elegant almost Alsatian with crisp acidity and slightly briny mouthfeel whereas the matched wine has generous and sweet fruit and more power.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 26, 2023 - Even, light ruby with no obvious youth.
A rather herbaceous red fruit nose, raspberries, hay, and even something a little piney.
Soft, open, ripe red fruit.
Very precise and focused on the palate, developing some wild strawberry jam notes as it warms up in the glass. -

July 17, 2019 - Straits Wines - Terre à Terre Wine Tasting (Straits Wines @ Icon Village): Started extremely herbal, as if like the antelope horns brew 羚羊 that I honestly loathed while young. But with some breathing in the glass, a heady mix of strawberry jam and grass. Good complexity, but just that I wasn’t too keen on the herbal hit up front, and somewhat strange that it wasn’t apparent the last I tasted...
